JG was commissioned to develop the retail concept for a new lifestyle brand, The Westside, which carries casual clothing for women and men as well as lifestyle products for home and body. The palate and ambience is inspired by the laid-back luxe feel of oceanfront California communities. Fixtures of natural oak and oil-rubbed metal are set among light grey and blue tones. JG custom designed wallpaper inspired by tie-dyed fabrics, woven light fixtures and found objects complete the easy residential feel. A national rollout of the retail stores, which range in size from 3000-6000 sf is underway.
